The device shipped in an Anker branded box.
Inside this box you will find the main blue box that houses the portable charger.
The package is wrapped in polythene bubble wrap, which you need to unwrap to open the box.
The box has “America’s Leading USB Charging” clearly written to boast about the fact that Anker is now a leading portable charger brand in the United States. However, you will also notice another polythene wrap, which you need to unwrap before opening the box.

Now lets open the box. We can now catch the first glimpse of the Anker PowerCore II 20000. The portable charger unit is also covered in a polythene wrap. I must confess that this is the most elaborate packaging for a power bank I have seen so far. This goes to point to the quality and premium positioning of this device.
Now lets see what is inside the box. At first sight you will notice Portable charger and the “Welcome Guide”. However on closer observation, you will notice that there is another box marked “Accessories” still inside the box.
Inside the accessories box, you will find two USB cables for recharging the Anker PowerCore II 20000. You will also see a pouch.
The pouch will come handy for carrying the portable charger.
Now, lets take a closer look at the Anker PowerCore II 20000 more closely starting with a brief specification written on the body.
On the back side, you will find the two micro USB input ports for recharging the portable charger. Each port is rated 5V/2A and used together can recharge the power bank in under 6 hours. More on this in the review.
